Barrister

John was called to the bar in 1999.

John was admitted to practice in 1994 and to the Bar in 1999.

Prior to coming to the Bar, John worked as a solicitor at a medium to large sized insurance litigation firm which has been the springboard for many prominent counsel, silk and judges.

His practice as a barrister encompasses the broad spectrum of common law matters and he appears regularly in the District Court, the Supreme Court and the Court of Appeal. He also frequently appears at CARS and in mediations.

John also appears in country circuits and in Family Provision matters.
